I am a Professor of Mathematics at Wheaton College. If you have any questions or comments on my pages, please drop me a note at ratliff_thomas@wheatoncollege.edu.

My area of research falls under the general framework of Voting Theory, and most recently I've been interested in questions of redistricting and identifying partisan gerrymandering in districting plans.

I have previously been involved with the Mathematical Association of America in various capacities, and especially the Northeastern Section where I served terms as both Chair and Governor.
