Math 285 - Mathematical and Statistical Consulting
Spring 2007

This is a project-based course that Mike Kahn and I team-taught that was supported in Spring 2007 by a grant from the Teagle Foundations. Six of the students presented their work at MathFest in San Jose on August 4, 2007. Here they are looking quite happy just after they finished.

There were two teams of four students each who worked for the semester on projects for local businesses. I gave a talk at MathFest describing the course. A version of the slides in .pdf format is available here.
